Are you ready for a truly Transformational & Life Changing experience?
HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU’RE READY?
At Prague Yoga Collective we are all students. Even if some of us are teachers, we are still, and will always be, students. We grow, learn and inspire each other on our different paths in this practice. A teacher can be someone who teaches others, but also refers to your inner teacher. The practice is what drives us, what forms us as people, students and teachers alike. So if you are committed to the practice of yoga, then you are ready.
You don’t need to be able to perform any ‘advanced’ postures to study to become a yoga teacher. It is not about how flexible you are or if you can handstand for 10 minutes straight, but what matters is your passion and enthusiasm for the practice of yoga. This TT has been carefully designed to challenge and inspire any student, new or experienced, young or old.
This course will be immersive, heart opening and life changing and is for:
ASPIRING TEACHERS :
Students feeling ready to facilitate transformation in others through the power of yoga.
Already qualified yoga teachers looking to refresh or expand their training.
DEDICATED STUDENTS LOOKING TO DEEPEN THEIR PERSONAL PRACTICE:
Students looking to expand their own personal practice without the intention to teach.
Committed students with a desire and passion to learn, not just asana but also about themselves.
Still feeling unsure if this program is for you?
Just send us a message or ask us next time you see us!
The 200-hr Program
Prague Yoga Collective’s TT goal is to go beyond the basics and elevate our trainees to teach with authenticity, courage and passion. We are laying the path for you by offering the highest standard of education in yoga asana, philosophy, anatomy and personal development. Our mission is to create passionate and powerful teachers who are equipped to transform lives and support students on their yoga journey. Our program is designed so that you’ll feel confident and ready to teach the day you graduate.
Your journey will take place over a 9-week (incl. 1 full week immersion in Statek Anglická Sezóna) semi-intensive course where you’ll be a part of a community of students on the same journey of radical transformation as you. The very nature of undergoing a teacher training will require your full commitment both in and out of the classroom, and you will be surrounded by a supportive group of humans going through a similar experience at the same time. The intensity of this course will be matched by experiences of joy, connection and friendships as you discover your most powerful self on the journey of yoga.
So let this time be reserved for the journey of a lifetime!
Optional Add-On:
Rocket Weekend
w/Marcus Veda
4-Beat creator Marcus Veda returns to Prague for this three day 25 hour teacher training. Born out of the Rocket Yoga system, 4-Beat is a dynamic vinyasa flow style on its way to becoming one of the most popular classes in London. The core of the practice is the alignment of the breath to the slow, regular beat of the music.
You'll discover exactly how the energetic arc of the practice is designed to take you up to a higher place and then bring you back down to a calmer one than you started from.
This TT will cover the two main sequences from the perspective of the practitioner as well as the teacher:
1. hips focus (flexion🧊)
2. backarches (extension🔥)
Mixing traditional Iyengar and Ashtanga alignment and principles with techniques from different movement modalities, you will try some fresh approaches to your favourite Rocket inversions plus some new transitions and arm balance variations incorporated from Capoeira and Bambu Bodies.
On the course you will learn:
- [x] The philosophy of 4-Beat methodology & sequencing and its origins in the Rocket Yoga system.
- [x] How to use music to enhance the yoga practice (and your teaching) and how you can affect mood, focus and the moving meditation by using the beat to teach and practice to.
- [x] How to incorporate teaching to the beat into any other sequence/style of yoga you want to teach.
- [x] About the 4 main families of poses (flexion/extension/open/closed hips) and how they relate to a new way of activated manual assisting.
- [x] how to make the sequences work For beginners to frequent flyers, injuries, all abilities, ages and levels of experience. Choose how “up” or “down” the class is without changing the sequence.
- [x] How to work inversions, new hand balance variations and trickier transitions into your own practice and how to teach them to your students.
*Students will be provided with Yoga Alliance continuing education certificates with course name, total hours, and PYC’s YACEP provider information.
